Best male models of 2013

H&M, Zara, Salvatore Ferragamo, Armani Exchange, Jil Sander, Cartier, Kenzo, Viktor & Rolf, Hugo Boss... when will your faves? Never, obviously. Bow down.

NYFW runway overview

HERVÉ LÉGER SS14
OHHHHH LORD! American designer Max Azria slayed again with his Hervé Léger collection. Gorgeous sexy cocktail dresses and pieces that every girl in the whole world would love to rock anywhere. These are my favorite looks from the Spring/Summer 2014. Very glamorous and cosmopolitan!!!! A+

LACOSTE WOMENSWEAR SS14

Felipe Oliveira Baptista keeps doing a great job at Lacoste. The womenswear SS14 collection was very chic yet sporty. It had an urban cosmopolitan vibe, it's Lacoste but it's also fresh and contemporary, desirable. [At times I see some DKNY in some of the looks. Anyone?]

LACOSTE MENSWEAR SS14
Lacoste's menswear Spring/Summer 2014 collection was a little bit uninspired... I saw a lot of Prada SS13 everywhere from cuts to colors, the whole aesthetic was very identical. I was expecting a lot more.

NAUTICA SS14
Legend O'Pry and Garrett Neff walked for Nautica during New York Fashion Week. The SS14 collection was kinda cool, very sporty and all of the clothes appeal to every man. Perry Ellis was loyal to Nautica's heritage and that's great. Plus, the show had the BEST MODEL CASTING of the season. I mean... Sean O'Pry rarely walks (by rarely I mean never, at least recently) and he just slayed with 2 looks, just like Garrett. I can't get enough.

RAG & BONE SS14
Rag&Bone is effortlessly cool in every way. I loved this simple yet sophisticated SS14 collection, it was sexy and fierce and classy at the same time. What about those orange lips? What are you waiting for girls? Orange lips ftw.

Rebel without a pause

Sean 'King of the World' O'Pry is flawless and everyone knows that. Everything he does is incredible, his face is beyond iconic, which is why he's the number 1 male model in the world. It's impossible not to love his work, since Sean always delivers his best at every single photoshoot. That's probably why GQ Style decided to feature Sean O'Pry in an editorial based on James Dean's timeless classic "Rebel Without A Cause". These images, captured by Guy Aroch, are extremely amazing and I would be hard to please because James Dean is my ultimate inspirational icon. However, Sean got the vibe and even though I don't think anyone can ever reach James Dean's legendary level, the north-american model surprised me. His eyes, bone structure and perfect nose create symmetric facial lines, just like a realistic drawing. I loved the result... suddenly I felt like I was in the 50's watching stills from the movie.

Check out some images of James Dean, that came to my mind while I was seeing Sean's editorial. :) It's so nice to know that my favorite model is representing my idol the best way. Hope you like it!

Fierce Boss

I can't get enough!

O'Pry goes DSection

December is coming and DSECTION Magazine is celebrating its 1st anniversary with a special cover starring the one and only Sean O'Pry. The #1 male model is wearing a McQueen Spring/Summer 2013 golden patchwork blazer.
Arnaldo Anaya-Lucca photographed the God of Perfection alongside fresh new face Estee Rammant and the result is splendid as you can see. The full editorial will have a lot of iconic shots  that will blow your mind.
Besides having a sublime cover, this edition is also very special because I wrote three articles for it. I'm not gonna tell anything about them because it's a surprise... if you want to know you'll have to buy the magazine that will be available on Monday, December 3rd. So don't forget to pick your copy and give me some feedback on everything. :)

If you wanna see where you can buy DSection check out the selling points here
and don't forget to like the magazine's facebook page.

Vogue O'Pry

It's been a while since I posted something about the holy Sean O'Pry. I actually missed it but I didn't want to turn this blog into a fansite so I kept myself calm and saved this editorial for later. Now it was time to share it with all of you, since November arrived, cold is here to stay and Sean wears amazing warm clothes that will certainly inspire all of you out there.

The King of Perfection graces on the cover of Vogue Hombre Mexico... and he looks quite fantastic as usual. His Royal Highness was elegantly photographed by David Roemer and styled by Sarah Gore Reeves with pieces from Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Costume National, Lanvin, Moschino, Roberto Cavalli, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier, among other brands. Enjoy these breathtaking shots of mr. O'Pry!

Dreaming the same dream

My non-existent ovaries exploded with so much information about one of my idols and the king of male models: Sean O'Pry. It's the trillionth time I do a post about him but honestly idc if you like it or not because I do. He's part of fashion royalty and everything he does becomes iconic. I really appreciate his simplicity, that's what makes everything seem so natural. His campaigns and editorials are beyond incredible not only because of his perfectly structured face but also because of his immaculate-classy-with-a-rebel-twist posture. One of the things I appreciate the most is seeing Sean in movement that's why I'm sharing two videos.

For the Armani Jeans Fall/Winter 2012/13 campaign video, Sean O'Pry was captured alongside Bambi Northwood Blyth. Takai Takemoto filmed it in black & white and I loved the result. It's really cool because both models are "locked in their respective rooms, which are almost totally unfurnished, surrounded by the walls of a space that is probably just a mental projection. The two protagonists imagine themselves on a stage, like the rockstars they love and imitate. The camera follows their movements, oblivious of being observed Bambi and Sean fully live their own fantasy, believing that reality is a product of the imagination. Because Armani Jeans embodies dream, fun, dynamism and freedom."

Now I bring you the behind the scenes video of a photoshoot Sean did for A Man of the World Magazine. It's again in black & white, it has an iconic strong masculine feel and was filmed by Derek Johnson. Really love all the scenes, specially the one when God O'Pry is blowing a piece of burning paper. Speechless!

Sean O'Pry is a mummy's boy

Mãezinha deste céu e do outro! Estou a ter um enfarte. Dos grandes! #NeedAirToBreathe

Eu ao início fiquei "Wow" surpreendido e um pouco chocado... mas depois pensei "oh well, that's not a bad thing!" e de certa forma eu também o sou, portanto that's a plus, me and Sean have something in common ahahah. Pronto, era isto...

Sean O'Perfect

I know, I know... it's about Sean O'Pry again but I can't help myself... it's never too much. This time, mexican department store El Palacio de Hierro had a brilliant idea and tapped the God of Gods, also known by his human name Sean O'Pry, for their latest Fall/Winter catalogue/style guide: El Libro Amarillo. Besides being flawless, Mr. O'Perfect looks impeccably classy and sophisticated by the lens of David Roemer. We have to admit that even the worst photographer on earth would capture a good shot of Sean... looking bad is not part of his dictionary for sure. Burberry Prorsum, Boss Black, Tommy Hilfiger, Bottega Veneta and Gucci are some of the brands chosen for this amazing editorial. Just check the pictures and see for yourself...

UH-MAZING, right?! Well and it's not over... I just found the behind the scenes video, another proof of the undeniable talent of the world's most epic model. Just check the shoot in the studio with Sean being laid-back and easy-going... doin' his thing, you know, being perfect with his face, eyes, movements and poses. I know your faves could never but... please don't be mad, ok?!
