Jourdan Dunn slaying

British model (and Cara Delevingne's best friend) Jourdan Dunn stuns in the September issue of British GQ. The gorgeous model was photographed by Dusan Reljin and she took things to a whole new level. She's naked showing her amazing figure and I was left speechless looking at these shots. Seriously, I was a fan of Dunn before but I have to admit I would never expect this kind of work coming from her. Now that I see it right in front of me... I'm like "wow... this girl can do anything basically!". She obviously can... her adorable/sweet/lovely look can easily turn into sexy but classy. I'm loving this photoshoot. Music Roundup #5

Rizzle Kicks pode ser um nome novo para alguns de vocês porque não circula nos meios mainstream. No entanto, vale bem a pena e por isso venho falar-vos deles aqui. Rizzle Kicks é um duo de hip-hop britânico. Associo sempre a sonoridade aos Beastie Boys, mas claro diferente e muito própria. É um rap acompanhado por guitarras, trompetes e bastante alternativo mas delicioso e fresh. É dos projectos musicais mais refrescantes que tenho ouvido nos últimos tempos! Lyrics inteligentes e beats sofisticados.

"Roaring 20's" é assim o segundo álbum de estúdio dos Rizzle Kicks e foi produzido por Ant Whiting (que já trabalhou com M.I.A.) e Fatboy Slim. Outro dos colaboradores neste disco foi o cantor Jamie Cullum, que co-escreveu 2 canções e deu voz a uma delas, "The Reason I Live", um dos highlights. Para além dessa, tenho também nas minhas preferências "That's Classic" e "Skip To The Good Bit" (cliquem para ouvir!!!) que tem o sampler da música "You're Unbelievable" dos EMF (tive reminiscências do filme "Coyote Ugly"... cena da dança do bar, anyone?!). Ahaha fora de devaneios, "Roaring 20's" teve como primeiro single "Lost Generation", que chegou a atingir o #6 nas tabelas do Reino Unido. Vejam o vídeo desta excelente música!

Naughty Boy é o nome artístico de Shahid Khan, produtor e músico britânico que lança agora o seu álbum de estreia "Hotel Cabana". A sonoridade deste trabalho é ecléctica, desde R&B e hip-hop até ao pop... mas vocês neste momento devem questionar-se de onde surge este artista porque são poucos os que já ouviram falar de Naughty Boy, certo? Ora bem, enquanto produtor já trabalhou com nomes como Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Jennifer Hudson, Cheryl Cole... e mais recentemente diz-se que está envolvido no novo disco de Britney Spears juntamente com o também produtor William Orbit. Com um currículo destes, só podíamos esperar o melhor e é precisamente isso que o aclamado "Hotel Cabana" nos oferece. Naughty Boy apresenta-nos uma colecção de músicas memoráveis e que qualquer um irá querer ter no iPod as soon as possible. Garanto-vos! Este hotel recebe também hóspedes ilustres como não podia deixar de ser: Emili Sandé, Wiz Khalifa, Ed Sheeran, Bastille e Tinie Tempah. Alguns dos meus cuts preferidos incluem "Hollywood", "Wonder" e "Pluto". A junção de diferentes vozes com beats meticulosamente criados por Naughty Boy é um dos segredos de sucesso de "Hotel Cabana", desde baladas a tracks mais agressivas, encontra-se de tudo um pouco em cada um dos 'quartos'. É radio-friendly mas não excessivamente ao ponto de se esgotar em meia dúzia de plays. Pelo contrário, quanto mais ouvimos mais vamos descobrindo e gostando.  Para terminar, óbvio que não vos podia deixar de falar do #1 hit de Naughty Boy que está a tocar pelas rádios de todo o mundo: "La La La"... às tantas já tinham ouvido e não sabiam de quem era, admitam lá! Agora já sabem... ;)

Milan Fashion Week: Amen Donatella!

VERSACE SPRING/SUMMER 2014

Donatella Versace slayed the world with Spring/Summer 2014 ready-to-wear collection presented in Milan. My favorite designer showed a very light and fresh line, with a lot of black, white and pastels (lavender, citric yellow and sky blue). This is the definition of sexy, specially the cut-out pieces, the dresses with body chains, the round skirts and obviously those killer platform sandals with metallic details. There was also a little bit of rock 'n' roll in some of the denim looks and a romantic element with floral garments. Everything is extremely feminine and chic but still sassy, powerful and edgy. It may not be the strongest collection Donatella has done, but it's a remarkably delicious one. Every girl and woman all around the world will want all these clothes in their closets.

Versace is the epitome of sexy glam and wanna know who's aunt Donatella's favorite new pop girl? Selena Gomez herself, that's right... the former Disney star has been rocking every Versace look possible and during Milan Fashion Week she was seen front row at the show and then having drinks and dinner with Queen Donatella. I wish... anyway, the model casting of the show was uh-mazing as well: Kasia Struss, Kati Nescher, Tian Yi, Anna Ewers, Vanessa Axente, Ava Smith, Mijo Mihaljcic, Sasha Luss, Nadja Bender, Hanne Gaby Odiele and Lindsey Wixson. NYFW runway overview pt.3

Girls this post is dedicated to all of you! As you know 2XN1 is mainly dedicated to men's fashion and lifestyle. However, since New York Fashion Week is having so many delicious womenswear collections I decided to share them with all of you. I selected 4 looks from each designer/brand. Hope it inspires you all! ;)

VICTORIA BECKHAM SS14

Victoria Beckham is the definition of class and effortless style. Her collection is a true reflection of her personality. She designs with herself in mind, I'm sure. This cute dresses and Spring/Summer pieces are very fresh and fluid, I love the colors used: black, white, burgundy, a little of pink, grey. All of the looks are very elegant and in my opinion Mrs. Beckham is establishing herself as a good designer. We better start taking herself very seriously!

PRABAL GURUNG SS14

Prabal Gurung's Spring/Summer 2014 fashion show presented a hit and miss collection. I loved the looks I selected above, from the prints to the clean cut looks. It's chic but there's still a modern contemporary twist. However, there was something missing for me. The inspiration is said to be Marilyn Monroe, I fail to see her in these creations.

ALTUZARRA SS14

Amazing collection. Joseph Altuzarra slayed New York with a very sexy sophisticated collection. Think of effortless looks from a city girl who's not afraid to risk it all when it comes to fashion. That's how I would describe this. Love the fabrics used, specially the shiny metallic gold and silver pieces. It was so beautifully done. Amazing!!!

BCBG MAX AZRIA SS14

Perfect. Max Azria creates delicious clothes. The BCBG Spring/Summer 2014 collection is everything a woman should have on her wardrobe. It's hot and sassy and daring but elegant, not vulgar. The neutral colors, the soft floral-ish prints, the see through details, the cut-out tops, fluid trousers and dresses. American design at its best! A+++

HELMUT LANG SS14

Helmut Lang was all about lines. It's morte of an alternative perspective on womenswear but I like it, a lot. Not everyone can pull off these looks, however the lines and angles are wonderful. Minimalist silhouettes and a 90's vibe here and there, a lot of black and white, overall it's a refined cool collection.

JASON WU SS14

Jason Wu's woman is a powerful one. It reflects on his collection which is filled with a strong personality and a clear vision. All of the looks are very detailed, casual and relaxed. What I also loved about Wu's Spring/Summer 2014 collection was the duality between light and dark through fabrics and black, grey and white palette. One word to sum it up: seductiveness.
