Milan Fashion Week: Amen Donatella!

VERSACE SPRING/SUMMER 2014

Donatella Versace slayed the world with Spring/Summer 2014 ready-to-wear collection presented in Milan. My favorite designer showed a very light and fresh line, with a lot of black, white and pastels (lavender, citric yellow and sky blue). This is the definition of sexy, specially the cut-out pieces, the dresses with body chains, the round skirts and obviously those killer platform sandals with metallic details. There was also a little bit of rock 'n' roll in some of the denim looks and a romantic element with floral garments. Everything is extremely feminine and chic but still sassy, powerful and edgy. It may not be the strongest collection Donatella has done, but it's a remarkably delicious one. Every girl and woman all around the world will want all these clothes in their closets.

Versace is the epitome of sexy glam and wanna know who's aunt Donatella's favorite new pop girl? Selena Gomez herself, that's right... the former Disney star has been rocking every Versace look possible and during Milan Fashion Week she was seen front row at the show and then having drinks and dinner with Queen Donatella. I wish... anyway, the model casting of the show was uh-mazing as well: Kasia Struss, Kati Nescher, Tian Yi, Anna Ewers, Vanessa Axente, Ava Smith, Mijo Mihaljcic, Sasha Luss, Nadja Bender, Hanne Gaby Odiele and Lindsey Wixson.
