Stüssy clothing was started as a surf brand inspired by reggae musicians, skaters, hip hop, and DJs. Over time, it grew into more than just a surf brand, but became a general "streetwear" brand, which in turn helped propel Sütssy into an international label. The company now makes everything from shirts, pants, caps, shorts, jackets and so on to accessories, bags, shoes.
Some of Stüssy's competitors have included Obey, Supreme, and Zoo York. All share a similar casual street look in their designs.
