How did you start modeling? I was invited a couple of times on the streets and after two model girls invited me, in different occasions, in the same line bus in my city, I found that too much coincidence. Then I went there to check it out.

Favorite brand/designer or any reference in the fashion industry? My favorite designer is the one that trust me to represent their brand. My references are basically street wear and boards. 

Do you have any special care with your body and nutrition? I love football, bike and sometimes I do gym too. I eat well cause since very very young age, back home, my mom always influenced me to eat good food. However, I was fat all my childhood because I used to eat a lot but also did a lot of sports.

Any superstitions? No. I trust in god that is inside each one of us.

What do you like the most about modeling? Being able to learn deeply many different cultures.

What was the last dream you remember? I will always remember one that I had when I was a kid, two nights in a row, that I was flying like a superman with my father by my side.

How did you start modeling? I started modeling because I was scouted while I was walking on the street!

Favorite brand/designer or any reference in the fashion industry? Hermes and Givenchy.

Do you have any special care with your body and nutrition? I’m very careful with my nutrition, especially with alcoholic drinks. I don’t drink. I also take care of myself by practicing sports and going to the gym frequently.

Any superstitions? I don’t have any superstitions.

What do you like the most about modeling? I like to travel a lot, visit new countries and meet different people and different cultures.

What do you like the most about you? I like the fact that I’m really athletic, honest and very responsible.

What was the last dream you remember? I remember a dream where I was with friends playing soccer with Messi at the beach, when in reality I was supposed to wake up at 6am and go to work.

If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would that be? If I could meet someone it would be Lionel Messi, Gaudí and Michael Jackson.

Favorite movie? The Pianist.

The worst misconception about models? That they are all day talking about work even when you’re at the beach relaxing or at a birthday party having fun, always talking about it.

Tell me something most people don’t know about you: I am a funny friendly boy, very honest, a sports lover and always trying to transmit positive vibes.

One thing you want to do before you're 30: I would like to have two sons and throw a big wedding party with all my people.

You're obsessed about...: Having good healthy food and play sports whenever I can.

What do you want to accomplish as a model? Work hard in order to have enough money to buy few properties at the beach!

He is Versace's it boy and a presence in some of the most important runway shows of every season. This week's model has been in the fashion industry for quite a while and I'll reveal some of his personal preferences. Believe me when I say that it was worth the wait to know a little more about one of the top 50 male models. :)

RYAN BARRETT

Name: Ryan Barrett

Date of birth: 30/12/1985

Nationality: British

How did you start modeling? I got scouted when I moved to London for university when I was 20.

Who is your reference in the fashion industry? I think John Galliano was one of my all time favourites, he had such a creative flare and I loved doing all his shows. He had a huge influence on designers today.

Favorite brand/designer? Well I love Versace of course but for myself I love wearing some All Saints mixed with a bit of Jcrew : )

What do you like the most about you? That I keep busy all the time I never sit still.

How often do you go to the gym? I actually just joined the gym recently and have started getting into it more and more, it's all about frame of mind.

How’s your nutrition? I eat everything! Apart from spicy food and raw food, yes I hate sushi lol

Any superstitions? I never walk under ladders! Never!

Do you believe in zodiac? Of course! Hahaha

What was the last dream you remember? A naughty one ; )

What annoys you the most? Being stuck in traffic, it makes my blood boil!

If a genie gave you three wishes what would they be? To be on a boat in the Maldives scuba diving with all my friends and to not have to worry about anything, oh and to give me wings so I could fly too hahaha

The most beautiful place you’ve been? India, it is one of the most amazing places I have ever been to.

Guilty pleasure? Tea, I drink English tea like it's water on a tap. I love tea!

You can’t live without… My laptop and camera I take them both everywhere!

The worst misconception about models? That we don't eat!

Favorite book? I'm dyslexic so I don't read very much

Favorite painting? Mark Rothko room at the Tate modern, I could sit in there for hours.
